GIVING BACK: ORGANIZATIONS AND CHARITIES

A common thread throughout Gustavo’s life has been giving back to his community. He regularly donates his time and talent to causes he believes in, and genuinely enjoys it.

Here are a few ways he has found to give back:

Gustavo is an active member of The Guardsmen, a local nonprofit that raises money to send at-risk youth to camp.

Gustavo has been involved with Children International since college where he was the fraternities (Sigma Chi) Philanthropy Chair and facilitated them sponsoring a child. He continues sponsoring a child with Children International.

He volunteers for the Make a Wish Foundation, photographing kids in need.

Gustavo spent 6 years as the San Francisco Bay Area Coordinator for Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep, an international nonprofit which provides bereavement photography to families who experience a loss.

GFP partnered with the St. Anthony Foundation, a nonprofit that provides essential support for those in need throughout San Francisco. Gustavo donated his headshot services by providing unemployed women with a professional headshot to add to their resumes and job applications.

Gustavo is also a member of the Charity: Water (The Spring) giving community. The Spring is a passionate and determined group of monthly givers on a mission to end the water crisis in our lifetime. People like you, from more than 100 countries around the world, give anything they can to prove how unstoppable we are when we work together.

In 2009, Gustavo created a charity called Hog for Kids to benefit children in the Dominican Republic. He rode his Harley Davidson across the country — photographing families along the way — and donated all sitting fees to support Dominican children. With his efforts, he was able to get 20 children sponsored for a year. This ride was featured in several online articles including LivebooksDiablo Magazine, Laht, Orlando Jorgemera, and Panamerica. All topped off by being on live TV on Telemundo upon his arrival in NYC! He even made it into his home town newspaper with close friends calling up when they saw the Sunday issue, with his mug on a full spread.

Gustavo remains an active member of several local organizations in SF, such as the San Francisco Chamber of CommerceSan Francisco Travel, and the American Marketing Association. Additionally, he is involved with the Northern California Chapter of International Live Events Association.

After we finish the shoot, each subject will get a chance to view their photos and we make sure that you will be satisfied with the results.

4. Photography Delivery

After touch-ups, we deliver all relative files and photographs to you directly, with a 3 - 5 business day turnaround time. Same-day and next-day rush orders are available.
