Above all, we believe in being good community citizens. We are working cooperatively with the state and local leaders to provide a safe environment for all. By adhering to guidelines set forth by the Centers for Disease Control, we re-opened our photography businesses safely.

Given the recent coronavirus pandemic, we wanted to share the guidelines we will be following going forward, and the safety solutions we will provide for your business. Here are some things we are putting in place to make sure that our clients’ health is the number one priority.

 

At this time, the photography session may take place inside or outside your office or home. Your photographer will wear a mask, maintain social distancing, and follow safety protocols provided by the state and the company. When a client contacts GFP to schedule a session, we will advise them of the current processes and procedures we will be taking, as well as any other notices or guidelines required by the state.

Safety Basics

  • Individual sessions by appointment only

  • Selection of images to be made via new client monitor viewing station, kept 6+ feet from photographer

The Photography Process

1. Complimentary Phone Consult

When we make first contact, we will discuss all the details of your photography shoot including volume, location, and safety.

2. Your Photo Shoot Day

Experience a professional, high quality, and consistent photoshoots for yourself and all your staff, whether on location or in studio.

3. Same Day Client Viewing

After we finish the shoot, each subject will get a chance to view their photos and we make sure that you will be satisfied with the results.

4. Photography Delivery

After touch-ups, we deliver all relative files and photographs to you directly, with a 3 - 5 business day turnaround time. Same-day and next-day rush orders are available.

Photography Guidelines

EMPLOYEES

A face mask is required for all team members at all times. Any studio employees or photographic assistants who are sick will be expected to stay home. We will provide training and educational materials available through the CDC website on proper sanitation, hand washing, cough and sneeze etiquette, use of PPE, and other protective behaviors. Break rooms or other areas of the studio will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized, and not used for congregating by employees.

 

BY APPOINTMENT ONLY

The studio will hold to strict appointment times, allowing sufficient time to sanitize photographic equipment and common areas after each client session. Only one client should be allowed in studio facilities at any given time. If the session is held offsite, only one client should be staged in the immediate area.

Photography Guidelines

SOCIAL DISTANCING / NO-TOUCH POSING

We will make sure that we keep a minimum of 6 feet between you and the lens. This is no different than before, as the lenses we use for portraits require the photographer to step back in order to capture the most flattering photo.

 

Photographers will maintain social distancing, using no-touch posing methods when at all possible. Until further notice is received from the CDC and other health officials, the maximum gathering for a photographic shoot of 10 or fewer persons should be observed.

 

We will offer a client monitor viewing station away from the photographer so the client can safely choose their favorite headshot.

Every portrait session will be planned in a location that follows the social distancing guidelines. This means that each location should have plenty of space to walk around and should not be too busy with other people.

TEMPERATURE CHECKS AND SCREENING QUESTIONS

 

Temperature checks will be conducted voluntarily for each photographic client prior to each session. Any subject with a fever exceeding 100. 4 degrees should be rescheduled. Screening questions could include:

 

  • How are you feeling?
  • Have you had a cough or any flu-like or COVID symptoms in the last 14 days?
  • Have you been around anyone exhibiting these symptoms within the last 14 days?
  • Have you been exposed to anyone who has tested positive within the last 14 days?
  • Are you living with anyone who is sick or quarantined?

Photography Guidelines

ADHERENCE TO SANITATION PROTOCOLS

Standard sanitation protocols prior to each client include, but will not be limited to:

  • Washing hands before and after photographic sessions
  • Sanitation of all props, chairs, or benches with which a client may come into contact
  • Sanitation of restroom/dressing facilities if available to clients in-studio
  • Sanitation of common areas, including door knobs (interior and exterior), counter tops, pens and pencils, tablets and monitors
  • Removal of unnecessary paper products or décor (magazines, newspapers, extraneous sales materials)
