Photography New Year’s Resolutions
Just wanted to share some of my Photography New Year’s Resolutions.
- Comment on Blogs vs. just stalking them (i only follow about 80 or so! gotta love Google Reader)
- Participate in the Forums (Freedom Club, Pictage, OSP) i belong to and again stop just stalking and share my knowledge.
- Blog a minimum of 4 times a week.
- Schedule a shoot every week when have no commissions (practice, practice, practice…)
- Start a monthly newsletter.
- Have lunch once a month with one local photographer whose work i admire. My list of 12: Ann Hamilton, Gene Higa, John Griffin, Michelle Walker, Jennifer Skog, Julie Mikkos, Jesse Leake, Catherine Hall, Anna Kuperberg, Alisha & Brook, Jules Bianchi (a stretch but she’s up here all the time)

Hey, I know Gene Higa and he can introduce you to his studio partner Ann Hamilton. Call him up and tell him you know me.
If he’s not traveling the world, I bet he’ll be thrilled you taking him out for coffee or lunch.
